Fall Colors

Michigan's Upper Peninsula in Autumn ranks among the most beautiful places on the planet. The top photos are of the view I captured in the Porcupine Mountains State Park looking down to the Big Carp River Valley. Fog descended over the river early one morning as it was winding through Fall Colored forests. The state of Michigan's Official Economic Development and Travel Site has used my photo to promote tourism to the state.

The next photo had a background of dark clouds which made for a stark contrast to the richly colored trees in the foreground. This was taken in Michigan's Upper Peninsula as well.
