Chapel Falls shown above in Autumn is one of the beautiful waterfalls seen in Northern Michigan's upper peninsula. As I walked the trail through the forest, I could hear the rumble of the 80 foot high waterfall getting stronger by the step. It was worth the long walk to see this beauty.
Over 100 feet wide with a drop of 40 feet over dark rock, Bond Falls in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a spectacular natural wonder. Seen in photos I took above and and the close up below, it's a place I'd like to return to. While the photo below shows another favorite of mine, Agate Falls in Ontonagon County, Michigan.
The reflection of Autumn colors in the water makes this one of my favorite photos. This was taken upstream of Bond Falls on the Ontonagon River.
