Copyright Jeffrey FolticeI caught this Long Eared Owl napping with it’s head tucked in during a windy afternoon earlier this month. It was near the top of a pine tree, about 80 feet off the ground, hidden among the branches and pine needles. The tree was swaying several feet from the brisk wind in Ottawa County, Michigan.
